Manage your Mental Health

Get help managing grief and stress in your life during this time of separation due to COVID-19. Recent social unrest due to injustice has brought additional stress into the lives of many. Get help to cope with emotions and feelings. In some cases you may need to seek professional counseling.

Wellness Wednesday by Lois Kirkpatrick helps with coping skills. She instructs us how to use combat breathing to relax and clarify our minds as soldiers of Christ in a crazy world. Use the link on page to go to her site.

Christian counseling can be found at Disciples Today, which is also linked to BTTCOC website.

Happy New year 2020

New Year = New Mercies

God has blessed us with a new year. His love and mercy will cover us for 2020. But just like blind Bartimaeus, we have to call out to Jesus for mercy and healing.

Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful.

Hope Day of Giving

God loves a cheerful giver. Bigger is not always better except when it comes to giving to help the needs of the poor and needy. 2017 was an exceptionally needy year. Our church gave $1056 to Hope Worldwide while still helping other local benevolence.

2 Corinthians 9:7

Hope Day of Giving, Oct 16th 2016

To whom much is given, much is expected. God blessed our day of giving for Hope Worldwide on Sunday October 16th. Our total gift to help the needy was $ 744.00 dollars. Remember, 2 Corinthians 9:6, God loves a cheerful giver; sow generously.

Brother Kilian Roever guest speaker August 14, 2016

Brother Kilian of North California spoke the word of encouragement today. Kilian shared about his journey to reach in St. Louis and north to Corning and Binghamton while touring the states. His message for today was:

A Song of Ascents : Psalms 120 – 134  Songs that were done to motivate listeners to keep going.

Psalm 121: Eyes upward

Psalm 127: Unless the Lord builds the house, it laborers work in vain.

Psalm 133: Brothers live in unity.

Psalm 126: When the Lord restored the fortunes of Zion, we were like those who dream. Then our mouth was filled with laughter, and our tongue with shouts of joy; then they said among the nations, “the Lord has done great things for them.”

He closed with Mark 12:41 the widows offering.

Jesus noticed that many rich men gave large sums of money to the temple treasury while he sat and watched. He also saw a poor widow who gave two small coins, which was all she had to live on. She gave out of her poverty. Jesus said she gave more than they did. Jesus noticed her faith. It was written for all to see. For all eternity.

Celebrate with us in welcoming our new Sister in Christ…Michelle.
Today, April 24th Michelle was baptized, gifted with The Holy Spirit and her sins were washed clean through our Lord and Savior.  Regardless of Michelle’s physical & medical challenges, GOD brought Michelle to completion…with the help of Michelle’s physical family. Special thanks to Camona, Aaron and Ed from the Syracuse Church. We are all very thankful for their hearts to come all this way to celebrate God’s victory and to give  much needed help in getting Michelłe into the waters.
Aaron came with his guitar and filled the room with singing. We were missing our sister Sierra who is still in Temple University and our sister Sandy who is in California.  Both Sierra and Sandy were used to move and touch Michelle’s heart through their dear love for her and God’s truth.
It was a joy to share this special time with Oral, Sheila, Sharon, Denise and Savannah.   It takes a village to raise a child, and I am so very grateful to our Lord for providing all that was needed.
Uniting us with one heart, soul, mind and Spirit…making us family.
Thank you all for all your love and prayers that have been sent and given to Michelle along her journey, please continue to pray for her physical challenges and her daily strength and walk with her LORD…and To GOD be the glory❤️❤️❤️.
Happy Birthday Michelłe👑.
